Warrior Games

This track features a South Indian Instrument called a
Sarasvati Vina. This instrument is similar to a sitar
except that is made totally of wood, uses no gourd,
and has no sympathetic strings. The Vina's fretboard
is made of wax. The second solo features an electrified
Vina played through a Digitech Twin Tube GFX1 Preamp

King Geirroth realized his plans were ruined
the Danes he had kidnapped wouldn't fight for him
He brought out his finest warriors for a game
which involved tossing around a roasted seals head
dripping hot oil on whoever grabbed hold of it
Whoever dropped it was eliminated from the game.
when all from one side had been eliminated
the other side would be able to claim victory

Thinking quickly Thorkel instructed Bergthor
to run back to their ship and fetch the gloves
they'd brought with them in case of cold weather
to shield their hands from the seal's head's heat
Meanwhile they watched as the head was boiled
Bergthor returned bringing the gloves with him
They put them on as the head was taken from the heat
Geiroth grabbed the head and tossed it straight at them

The seal's head flew in towards Thorsten Hightower
who caught it midair and tossed it back to Agnar
who happened to be King Geiroth's largest warrior,
Agnar caught the head and threw it to Rangbein.
Godmund's son fumbled the head and was eliminated.
Burly Hroar picked it the head and tossed it at Brimnir
Geiroth's man dropped the head and was out of the game
Geiroth picked up the head and hurled it at Oskroth

Sigtrygg intercepted the head and threw it at Thrym
who dropped the head and had to leave the game
This exchange continued until Godmund's sons
and Geiroth's men had all been eliminated from the game
But of the Danes not a single one dropped the head
their strong gloves protected them from the seal head's heat.
Finally Geiroth himself was knocked out of the game
his hand were so sore he finally let the head drop

After Geiroth regained his composure
he suggested they drink a toast
a golden drinking horn was brought
with a man's face engraved on it
Ingolf rememered the crushed leaves
Glumra had provided him with
When the drinking horn was passed around
he made sure the leaves were added to the drink
