When their spokesman, Drusus the Tribune
suddenly suffers fatal harms
the Allies feel they have no choice
but to finally take up arms
Marius and Sulla lead Rome's forces
along with Pompeius and Crassus
Caesar and Rutilius are Rome's consuls
The war gets bloodier as time passes
Rome's two consuls both lose their lives
prompting the senate to offer the right
of citizenship to those of their neighbours
who desist from this terrible fight
One by one the rebels defect
over to join the Roman side
The Romans vanquish those that remain
their rebellion soon does subside
